Carusel appeared in 2011 out of the need for solidarity, to offer social and medical services to people in situations of extreme vulnerability.
We try to give a voice to the most vulnerable of the vulnerable - homeless people, drug users, people who practice commercial sex, people in extreme poverty or at risk of social exclusion, those living with HIV, TB or other diseases infectious diseases, victims of abuse, the undocumented or without medical care, refugees, victims of disasters and many others. There are those who no one sees, who are marginalized, humiliated, bullied or ignored. Through our interventions we aim for something else: to restore their dignity and remind them that they are human.
